STOCKHOLM, Oct 31 (Reuters) – Swedbank (SWEDa.ST) mentioned on Monday Sweden’s monetary supervisory authority was investigating an IT incident on April 28 and was assessing a potential sanction towards the financial institution over the incident.
The Swedish lender mentioned in a press release the incident had resulted in incorrect account statements for patrons.
“Swedbank has taken forceful measures to forestall this from taking place once more,” it mentioned.
