COLOMBO, Sept 2 (Reuters) – Sri Lanka’s highest court docket has allowed former finance minister Basil Rajapaksa to journey abroad till Jan. 15, anti-corruption physique Transparency Worldwide Sri Lanka stated on Friday.
“Courtroom allowed Basil Rajapaksa to journey abroad upon a request made by his counsel in search of permission to go for medical check-ups. He’s alleged to return by fifteenth January 2023,” stated Transparency Worldwide, which had sought a ban on his travels.
